4.3. Incident Research Center established within Tamla Cultural Research Institute

A new research center specializing in the study of Jeju 4.3 Incident has been established as an auxiliary program of Tamla Cultural Research Institute at Jeju National University last Friday (September 19, 2014).

The Jeju 4.3 Incident Research Center (Professor Kim Dong Yoon, Director) aims to conduct a scholarly study of Jeju’s most tragic and traumatic history nearly seven decades ago. The center plans to study △Jeju 4.3 incident and its related affairs △data related to the incident △publications and conferences △ exchange with other research organizations.

Center Director Kim will also serve as director of the Tamla institute.
