2021 law school graduates conferred degrees

Jeju National University School of Law (Director Ko Bong-jin) held the 2021 Degree Conferring Ceremony in the school’s Grand Auditorium. On the 11th event since its opening, 32 students were conferred the Juris Doctor degree.

Song Seok-eon, president of the university, said in his congratulatory speech: “I expect that you will become warmhearted, reliable, and respectable judicial officers with an outstanding legal sense and ability. I urge you to have a sense of duty and pride as guardians of law and order who defend human rights and realize a society of justice.”

During the ceremony, the JNU Presidential Citation was awarded to Lee Dong-min, while Park Hyo-jin received the JNU School of Law Directorial Citation. The JNU School of Law Alumni Citation (presented under the name of lawyer Ko Kyeong-joon) was presented to Yang Jin-hee and Kim Yeong-geun.

The Degree Conferring Ceremony was followed by the law school’s first Home Coming Day event. Ten members of the 1st JNU School of Law Alumni (Representative: Lawyer Kim Ju-yeop) participated in the event and communicated with the recent graduates on their future career paths.
