Ground breaking ceremony marks construction work for Life and Natural Resource Science Hall

Construction of the main hall of the College of Life and Natural Resource Sciences (Ko Sung Bo, Dean) has just started on the campus earlier today (October 16, 2014).

The construction will cost 526 million won for a 3-story building having the net space of 3572㎡. Fund for the work has been provided by Hon. Dr. Kim Chang Il of Japan (300 million) and Nong Hyup Bank-Jeju National University Branch (200 million).

At the ground breaking ceremony attended by Mr. Okamoto Kohei (on behalf of Mr. Kim Chang Il), Mr. Kim In, Branch President of Nong Hyup Bank and university officials, President Huh Hyang Jin commented that the new addition is expected to alleviate the problem of serious shortage of space for teaching and research in the College of Life and Natural Resource Sciences.
