JNU athletes collect seven medals at 95th National Sports Festival

Seven Jeju National University athletes came away with seven medals (3 silvers and 4 bronzes) from the recently held 95th National Sports Festival hosted in Jeju during October 28 through November 3, 2014.

Lee Soo Jung won a silver medal in hammer throw, setting Jeju province record of 15 m 91, Nam Cho Long was silver medalist in women’s 800m (with 2 min 17 sec 59) and the 1600m relay team led by Kim Soo Mi also got a silver medal, with a time of 4 min 3 sec 20.

The bronze medalists include Lee Sang Won (taekwondo), Kim So Ra (weight lifting), Kang Moon Kwon and his team in bowling, Kang Dae In and his teammates (fencing), and Lee Eun Jung (horse riding).
