Cultural Contests Project team launches 1st Creative Trainees Academy

The Jeju National University Jeju Cultural Contents Creative Trainees Project (Kim Dong Jun, Director) held its first Cultural Contents Creativity Academy in the College of Humanities Hall #2 last Thursday (November 13, 2014).

The meeting featured a special lecture by the producer of film "Jiseul (potato in Jeju vernacular)" Ko Hyeok Jin who talked about the planning and production works involved in the film of Jeju 4.3 Incident theme. Students of the Departments of Korean Language and Literature and of History participated in the discussion.

Through the film presentation, students were offered the opportunity to understand and appreciate the historical story behind Jeju’s political past and the life of Jeju residents over the past decades.
