지영흔 교수 등 WISET 멘토상 수상
Prof. Ji Young Heun and her collaborators awarded for WISET mentoring activities

Professor Ji Young Heun (photo left) of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Jeju National University WISET  (Women in Science, Engineering and Technology) Jeju Branch, women’s training program in science, engineering and technology (Doh Yang Hee, Director) was recognized for her outstanding mentoring activities at the 2014 WISET Mentoring Day event held in Korea Science and Technology Hall. She received This Year’s Best Mentor award from the Minister of Science, ICT and Future Planning at the event.

Also at the mentoring day event, Lee Bo In, Social Contributions Team of NXC Company, earned a superior regional personnel mentoring award, and Yang Ji Soon was selected for This Year’s Best Mentee award. The awardees were presented with the prizes from the President of the National Research Foundation of Korea.

WISET Jeju Branch runs training program to stimulate interest in science, engineering and technology among women students, with the support of the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, National Research Foundation of Korea, Korea Women Scientists and Technologists Center and Jeju Self-Governing Province.
