GTU사업단, 영어수업 시연대회서 최우수상
Global Teacher's University project teams shine at teaching in English contest

The Jeju National University Global Teacher’s University project (GTU, global teachers education program) dispatched a C.T.E team of Cho Joo Young, Yang Eun Kyeol and Kim Na Kyeong to Daegu Grand Hotel for the 1st Teaching in English Contest “I am a Global Teacher, IGT.” The team came away with an outstanding performance award (Presidential Award of the National Research Foundation of Korea) from the contest earlier this week.

Another GTU team “Look out for Geography” comprised of Yang Jae Wo, Kang Da Hee and Han Hee Joo won a GTU association award.

The C.T.E. team’s award winning theme was “STEAM education based on volcano and earthquake” and that of the Lookout for Geography team was “Differences in thinking between the Orient and the Occident.”

In addition to JNU, Kyungpook National University, Kyung In Teachers University and National University of Education entered the competition, with two teams from each institution contesting.
