JNU to implement a national project for career development (2022. 2. 25)

Jeju National University (JNU) has been selected as a preferred university negotiating for the operation of the University Job Plus Center, a specialized program organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
As a result, JNU will receive the project costs of 750 million won per year, up to 3.75 billion won for a total of five years.
During the project, JNU will provide support for the career development and employment of local youth, including JNU students. The integrated counseling services are extended to psychological consultation. The university will also establish and operate local youth employment governance, cooperate for youth employment support projects, and run regionally specialized programs.
In particular, JNU will operate the “Hidden Champion JNU Expedition”, a specialized program to strengthen youth employment capabilities in Jeju. The Hidden Champion JNU Expedition will discover small and medium-sized leading companies inside and outside Jeju Island and enable job matching through corporate analysis and field trips.
