Learning and research space for graduate students created

Jeju National University (JNU) opened an online lecture room and a counseling room dedicated to graduate students. The facilities were created to provide strengthened support for the education and research of graduate program students, as part of the fourth-stage implementation of the nation’s Brain Korea 21 Graduate School Innovation Project.
The lecture room, a learning and research space for graduate students in preparation for the post-COVID-19 era, has been named “Monttak-e-Room” using the Jeju dialect, which means a space for graduate students to realize all their dreams.
This room will be used as a common space for graduate schools and the operation of graduate school programs such as Convergence Colloquium.
The university has also set up a graduate counseling room to improve the quality of support services for graduate students. The room will be used to provide counseling and academic guidance for foreign graduate students.
JNU expects these facilities to be actively used as a key infrastructure in its efforts to leap forward as a research-oriented university by strengthening graduate students’ research capabilities.
