Creativity education center recognized for outstanding performances

Jeju National University (JNU) Center for Creative Education has been announced as the nation’s only university that earned the grade of highly excellent performance in the yearly evaluation by the Ministry of Education.

JNU Center for Creative Education was judged “highly excellent" for two consecutive years since last year. The grade represents its recognition as an outstanding institute in various performance indicators for future-oriented talent incubation.

The national project of operating the Center for Creative Education aims to cultivate creative talents in response to various and rapid changes caused by digital transformation and the spread of infectious diseases, by the Ministry of Education’s 2022 revised curriculum. JNU has been operating the project since 2017.

In the project, JNU Center for Creative Education developed a hyper-blended practice model using future-oriented intelligent information technologies and innovative teaching and learning methods for learners who are digital-friendly and challenge new environments.

The university’s model was highly appraised for creating excellent performance outcomes in the applicability to the school field.
