Professor Kang Ki Choon appointed to JDI head post

Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Governor Won Hee Ryong appointed JNU Professor Kang Ki Choon of the Department of Economics to the presidential post at Jeju Development Institute last Monday (December 1, 2014).

The newly appointed JDI president earned his baccalaureate degree from Korea University and his Ph.D. in economics from Iowa State University. He joined the JNU faculty after a few years of experience at Korea National Bank and other institutions.

Dr. Kang’s three year term is effective from November 30, 2014.
