Wolja Packaging's Ko Choo Wol to be conferred honorary doctorate

Jeju National University announced that Ms. Ko Choo Wol, President of Wolja Packaging, will be conferred an Honorary Doctor of Management degree on her next Friday (December 19, 2014).

The honorary doctorate degree is to recognize her generosity and dedication for the advancement of Jeju society and the university through economic, environmental (recycling) and educational contributions.

Ms. Ko is a self accomplished businesswoman widely respected and has been an exemplary practitioner of nobles oblige for Jeju society. She has been honored with many awards and prizes for her charitable contributions to the Jeju community, which include Outstanding Woman Manager’s Award, ROK Presidential Citation, Mandeok Service Award, and 2014-Social Welfare Fund Honor Grand Prize.

A degree conferment ceremony for Ms. Ko is scheduled to take place in International Affairs Hall at 11:00, Friday, December 19, 2014.
