JNU Museum publishes "Exorciser's Instruments of Jeju Island"

"Exorciser's Instruments of Jeju Island," JNU Museum Cultural Moonograph Series #1, has just been published by JNU Museum in commemoration of the 62nd university anniversary. The monograph describes such exorcism instruments and tools as "mengdoo", "yeonmool", "moobok", "kimae" and others.

The publication is a condensed version of the previously published, comprehensive monograph and appears as a booklet form for portable convenience and legibility.

The booklet aims to explore humanistic and artistic values of Jeju exorcism and its instruments based on new approaches to the understanding of Jeju's cultural heritage.
