Ms. Lee Ji Hyung of JNU Medical School wins Superior Poster Prize

Predoctoral Fellow Lee Ji Hyung of Jeju National University School of Medicine won a superior poster prize including award stipend at the 7th Biomedical Scientist Training and Education Workshop held last Wednesday (February 4, 2015). Her research work presented at the workshop was supervised by Professor Eun Soo Yong.

Along with four other winners, she was given the opportunity for a platform presentation of her work at the last session of the workshop.

Her research investigated the effects of citrus components on the regulation of nerve cell growth and apoptosis in mitochondrial organelles.

Ms. Lee is working on her degree under the combined MD/PhD program at JNU medical school established four years ago.
