Undergraduate tuition remains frozen or lowered for 7 years
Jeju National University Tuition Fees Assessment Committee recommended (and approved) a 0.00125% reduction in academic year 2015 tuition for the undergraduates and a 2.4% increase in graduate tuition over the previous academic year rates. Thus, the undergraduate tuition remains either unchanged or slightly reduced during the past seven years.
Accordingly, this year’s freshman tuition will be 3.448 million won (including 168,000 won admission fee) for humanity and social science colleges, 3.28 and 3.218 million won for sophomore-junior and senior classmen, respectively.
Other tuition rate schedules (in million won) are as follows:
Science and physical education areas ~ 4.19 (freshman),4,022 (sophomore-junior) and 3.938 (senior)
Engineering and arts ~ 4.538 (freshman), 4.37 (sophomore ~junior) and 4.28 (senior)
Medicine ~ 5.632 (freshman through junior) and 5.512 (senior) Teachers College ~ 3.10 (freshman) and 2.92 (sophomore ~senior).
