Graduating seniors JY Chang and SY Kim author papers in international journals

Jeju National University graduating seniors Chang Ji Young (photo left), and Kim Soo Yeon, both of the College of Veterinary Medicine, are co-authors of their theses published in an international journal, it was announced last Tuesday (February 17, 2015). Professor Joo Hong Koo supervised their research upon which their publications were based.

Ms. Chang’s paper is entitled ‘Differential effects of fucoidans with low and high molecular weight on the viability and function of spleen cells’ published in ‘Food and Chemical Toxicology’ (impact factor 3.0). The work published has also been filed for a patent.

Ms. Kim’s paper is entitled ‘Evaluation of adjuvant effects of fucoidan for improving vaccine efficacy’ published in ‘Journal of Veterinary Science.’
