JNU cited for exemplary in recruiting and maintaining foreign students 3 years in a row

According to the announcement made by the Ministries of Education and Justice earlier today (March 5, 2015), Jeju National University gained a managerially superior institution for recruiting and sustaining its foreign students pool three years in a row.

The ministerial evaluations considered such data as drop outs, financial support, medical insurance, student accommodations, Korean language proficiency, etc. In these concerns, Jeju National University was ranked high among the competing universities in the country.

As the result of the evaluation, the university will benefit in simplifying the visa application and permit procedure for its foreign students and for obtaining such government sponsored scholarships as Global Korea Scholarship (GKS).
