고교생 대상 '전공체험의 날' 행사 개최
High School students participate in "Prospective Majors Day" event at Jeju National University

A "Prospective Majors Day" event was organized for Jeju province high school students last week (April 10, 2015).

The event was hosted was hosted by Jeju National University to provide for the regional high school students to get information about college entrance tests and experience their prospective majors study areas in advance.

The first ever program attracted 272 high schoolers from the region.

Various academic departments introduced their majors subject areas to the participants, followed by visiting to laboratories, academic facilities and campus housing, etc. The event included a Q&A session about collegiate life in general.

The high school-aimed program will be scheduled four times this year; June 26, September 11, and November 27, in addition to the last week’s launching session.
