JNU's Innovative Intellectual Property Industrialization Project gets funded

The Innovative Intellectual Property Industrialization Project submitted by Jeju National University gets funding from the Ministry of Education and National Research Foundation of Korea, according to today’s announcement released by the university.

The project proposes to transfer the intellectual properties owned by the university to the extramural private sector or promote their industrialization in house.

The project is to be carried out under the regional consortium of Jeju National University, Chonnam and Chonbuk National Universities, and Wonkwang University which earned the top ranking in the proposal evaluations.

Each project grant is worth 1 billion won per three years, providing financial support for the development of new renewable energy, beauty cosmetics, and other focal research areas having research strength.
