해양과학연구소, 기당장학금 및 지역어촌 발전기금 전달
JNU Ocean Science Institute presents scholarships and Hamdeok development fund

Jeju National University Ocean Science Institute (Lee Young Don, Director) visited Hamdeok Junior and Senior High Schools and presented Kidang scholarships to Yang Ji Woong (Hamdeok High) and Lee So Young (Hamdeok Junior High), respectively, last Tuesday (May 12, 2015).

The Kidang scholarship began its program in 2007 with fund contributed by the Kidang Scholarship Foundation established by the late Kang Koo Beom (known under the nom de plume of Kidang), Jeju native resided in Japan. The institute also presented this year’s fund allocation to the Hamdeok fishing village for its development in accordance with the cooperative agreement with the village established in March, 2011.
