Prof. Oh Sung Geun gets his book listed by Korean Academy of Science

The book entitled “The History of Investment Trust and US Law of Investment Firms” authored by Professor Oh Sung Geun of Jeju National University Law School is listed among the 2015 Books of Excellence recommended by the Korean Academy of Science.

The book traces the history of investment trust since the 1868 “Foreign and Colonial Government Trust” was established over 150 years ago.

Of particular interest to the investment trust community is the historical background behind the industrial revolution, financial risks and the great depression during and after the two World Wars.
