'2015 제주어말하기 대회' 대상에 부연경·이소영
Bhoo Yeon Kyung and Lee So Young win Grand Prize at 2015-Jeju Vernacular Speaking Contest

Jeju National University Korean Language Institute Jeju Vernacular Center (Bae Young Hwan, Director) announced two Grand Prize winners Bhoo Yeon Kyung and Lee So Young, both Hamdeok Junior High freshmen at the 2015 Jeju Vernacular Speaking Contest. Winners Bhoo and Lee each received a Presidential Award Certificate and the prize stipend of 300,000 won. Several other superior vernacular speaking contestants were also recognized at the award presentation.

The Jeju vernacular speaking contest held in the College of Humanities Hall #2 last Saturday (June 13, 2015) was sponsored in commemoration of the 63rd anniversary of the university’s founding. Thirty four “speakers” from18 elementary, junior and senior high schools entered the contest.
