Korean Language Institute opens Jeju vernacular class for immigrant residents
To help the immigrants residing in Jeju to be able to communicate with Jeju natives in their neighborhood and elsewhere, a new Jeju vernacular class is being offered.
The Jeju language class is organized by the Jeju National University Korean Language Institute in response to the requests for such a class from the immigrant residents.
The class covers such vernacular uses as in △greeting △flea market shopping △ restaurants, etc. .
The class will be held in Book Cafe (064-725-4410) in Old Town city center from Saturdays (14:00-17:00), July 4, 11, 18, and 25. Professor Kang Young Bong and Staff Researchers Kim Soon Ja and Kim Mi Jin are in charge of providing lessons for the auditors.
