‘고교교육 기여대학 지원사업’ 4년 연속 선정

JNU, selected for ‘High School Education Contributory University Project’ for 4 consecutive years

Jeju National University was selected as a ‘2022~2024 High School Education Contributory University Project’ for the 4th consecutive year, which is administered by the Ministry of Education and implemented by the Korean Council for University Education.

The project supports strengthening of fairness and transparency in the college admission process, alleviating the burden on students, and substantiating high school education.

In this project evaluation, JNU received a favorable evaluation through △Strengthening fairness in college admissions △Expansion of selection of local talents △Relaxation of minimum academic qualification criteria for the CSAT △Providing necessary information actively for preparation for higher learning to students △Operating various high school-university programs even during COVID-19.

The Ministry of Education will set the size of the budget support in consideration of the size of the admissions officers of the selected universities and the results of the selection evaluation. Jeju National University has received a total of about 1.41 billion KRW in support projects from 2019 to 2021.
