강창희 명예교수, 미국 항공우주연구소 최우수논문 선정

The Emeritus Professor Kang Chang-Hee, the Best Research Paper by the National Institute of Aerospace 

The Emeritus Professor Kang Chang-Hee, from the Department of Chemistry and Cosmetics in the College of Natural Sciences, Jeju National University, conducted research jointly with the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organization, and published a paper titled ‘Simulation of Radon-222 with the GEOS-Chem Global Model: Emissions, Seasonality, and Connective Transport' in the journal Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics, which was selected as the best research paper by the National Institute of Aerospace in the United States in 2021.

Professor Kang has been conducting atmospheric radon monitoring research with the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organization for 22 years since 2001, at the "Climate Change Observatory" at Suwolbong Peak on Jeju Island, to check the impact of pollutants from China.
