Consultation with Tasmania, Australia to promote educational exchanges

Jeju National University(JNU) participated in the 'Web Seminar for Promotion of Educational Exchanges' to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Jeju- Tasmanian, Australia Friendship City held at the Jeju Provincial Office on the 9^th of May, and hear opinions on exchange plans between universities in the two regions.

This webinar is one of the events that Jeju Special Self-Governing Province has held since 2020 to revitalize exchanges with Tasmania. The theme of this year is 'Education'. JNU, a higher education institution representing Jeju Island, was in charge of the presentation.

At the seminar attended by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, Jeju National University, Tasmania State Government, Tasmania State University, Study Tasmania, and the Korean Embassy in Australia, JNU introduced itself and explained the international exchange project.

It also discussed ways to revitalize exchanges between universities in the two regions.

An official from Office of International Affairs, JNU said, "We hope this seminar will further promote exchanges in the education field with Tasmania. We’re also looking forward to continuing active exchanges among students."
