Veterinary College team providing animal clinic in Mongolia next month
A bipartite team of the Jeju National University College of Veterinary Medicine (Lee Kyung Kap, Dean) and the Jeju Association of Veterinarians and in collaboration with Mongolian Life Science University plans to dispense volunteer clinical services for domestic animals in Zargarant region, Ulan Bator, Mongolia, during July 14-20, 2015.
The Jeju veterinary voluntary service team includes Dean Lee, one resident veterinarian, three professors, and fourteen veterinary college students and two veterinarians from the Jeju Association of Veterinarians.
In addition to treating cows, horses, and sheep and educational activities for Mongolian veterinarians, the team will visit the cultural and KOICA international cooperative project sites during the visit.
The team will also share the expertise in animal clinic technologies with the staff and students of Mongolian Life Science University.
