Regional Science and Technology Center invites participants in Livelihood Science Program

Under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and with the administrative support of the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity, the City of Seogwipo and Jeju City, Jeju National University Regional Science and Technology Center plans to run the 2015 2nd Livelihood Science Class program during July 18 through September 20, 2015. The one-hour class will be operated once a week during the period.

Elementary school 3rd through 6thgraders are eligible to participate in the program running from next month. Deadline for application is July 4 through 14. Visit the website for further information http://cafe.naver.com/sctjeju or apply via uy1217@nate.com.

Classes will be held in various locations around the region (consult the above website for specific schedule and venues). Many interesting and useful examples from daily life and experiences will be featured in the program contents; for example, topics include butterflies, “Cheomsung Dae Observatory”, natural detergent making, vibrating robot and puppy based on solar power, smart art, eye-mystery of human body, etc.
