Tamla Culture Research Institute runs humanities experiencing event

Jeju National University Tamla Culture Research Institute (Kim Dong Yoon, Director) is staging a humanities experiencing event entitled “Jejuans’ life and stories as depicted in films”, part of the Humanity for Jeju Public Project , in the audiovisual laboratory of JNU Museum (2nd floor) at 14:00~19:00, Friday, July 10, 2015.

The participants will be treated with several humanity theme films including the late Director Kim Kyeong Ryul’s film “A Small Apple of Discord” (October 2003; 45 minutes) and other movie films featuring Jeju culture and tradition.

After each showing of the films, the audience will be engaged in a panel discussion with Mr. Ko Hyuk Jin, President, Jeju Independent Films Association, Lee Seok Jin, film critique, and Directors Byun Sung Jin and Suh Jang Seok.
