농식품부 '식생활교육 학과목 운영사업' 선정
JNU picked to run diet class management project by AFRA ministry

According to the announcement from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (Lee Dong Pil, Minister) today (Julu 6, 2015), Jeju National University (Huh Hyang Jin, President) was picked to operate the 2015 diet education classes management project.

As the result of the announcement, the elementary education curriculum of Teachers College starts to cover classes related to the eating habits including practical laboratory experiments and farm-fishing village visitation program.

Professor Kim Hyo Shik of the Teachers College Elementary Practical Course specialist will be in charge of the diet education class program.

Jeju National University is the only regional program running national diet education classes since 2012, and the program has received a ranking of excellence in the country by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
