여고생 대상 제5회 공학캠프 개최
5th Engineering Camp presents girls high school award winners

The 5th Next Generation Women Engineers Camp was held at Jeju National University last Tuesday (July 21, 2015).

The event was organized by JNU Engineering Education Center (An Ki Joong, Director) and Women in Science, Engineering and Technology Jeju Regional Center (Doh Yang Hee, Director) under the joint sponsorship of the Ministries of Science, ICT and Future Planning and Trade, Industry and Energy, the National Research Foundation of Korea, Korea Women Scientists and Technologists Support Center, Jeju Autonomous Government and Jeju National University.

The WISET camp annually celebrates “Girls’ Engineering Week” that began in 2011. It featured the future engineers to experience the engineering discipline during the week.

One hundred thirteen girls high school students participated in the lectureship and laboratory experience program this year.

Lee Young Me, CEO, Eco Bbrain, gave a special talk at the Women in Science, Engineering Leadership lecture at the camp.

The program also recognized superior Mentees and Mentors awards at the camp.
