Western Vegetables RIS project seeks manufacturing affiliates for support

Jeju National University Western Vegetables RIS Project team (Lim Sang Bin, Director) is inviting Jeju small and medium size industrial companies to affiliate with the project for technical and subsidized support. Deadline for the application is August 7, 2015.

The Western vegetables RIS project provides support for improvement of the existing products, production cost subsidy, new product development, improved packaging, and publicity contents.

Western vegetables cultivated in Jeju include cabbage (47% of the national produce) and broccoli (83%).These vegetables are marketed as fresh produce to the consumers. The RIS project promotes manufacturing of the processed products from these fresh produces for commercial benefits.
