Korean Language and Culture Center invites qualifiers for KBS "Challenge Golden Bell" show

Jeju National University Korean Language and Culture Center (Bae Young Hwan, Director) is accepting qualifier applicants to participate in the KBS Challenge Golden Bell “Hangeul Day” Special Show program. Deadline for application is August 24 through 28, 2015.

All high school students from Jeju Province interested in Korean language and writings are eligible to apply.

Apply by submitting the application form downloadable from the university website via email (halla2712@jejunu.ac.kr). For further information, call the center office at (754-2712).

A Jeju qualifying meet takes place at 11:00, August 30, 2015, in Room 1102, College of Humanity Hall #2.

At the qualifying meet, each applicant will be asked of standard spoken Korean, youth spoken language, etc.

There will be prizes for the superior performances at the qualifier. In the national Golden Bell show, 100 finalists are expected to enter the contest.
