JNU Cosmetics Research Center provides free analysis service

The Cosmetics Research Center of Jeju National University College of Natural Science (Lee Nam Ho, Dean) announced its subsidy program providing free chemical analyses and evaluations of cosmetics raw materials submitted by nine natural cosmetics manufacturers in Jeju Province.

The nine manufacturers of “Made in Jeju” cosmetics were chosen for the subsidy program under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

Those selected are Jeju’s representative small and medium size businesses including Glycon Cord, Jeju Indy, Korea Beauty Industry Promotion Institute, Jeju Mayoo, Tamna Mo, Aqua Green Tech, Jeju Hongam Ga, and BK Bio.

Professor Hyun Chang Ku, Director of the Center and Faculty of Cosmetics Science, hopes the subsidy program help creates a number of jobs for the region’s youths.
