제주대병원 심장수술 100례 돌파
100 cases of heart surgery marked at JNU hospital since 2009

A team of the JNU Hospital Department of Chest Surgery (Lee Seok Jae, Department Chair) achieved 100 cases of cardiac surgery at the university hospital since its initial operation in 2009, it was announced last week (September 7, 2015).

Previously, many of the critical heart patients in Jeju Province had their surgical treatments in Seoul and other major heart and lung hospitals in the mainland, but now the JNU surgical team’s experience and expertise have assured the local patients to have their cardiac surgeries conveniently here at home in the future.
