Prof. Cho Young Bae elected as President of Korean Folk Song Society

Professor Cho Young Bae, Music Education Program, Jeju National University Teachers College, was elected to the Presidency of the The Society of Korean Folk Song at an annual society meeting held at Chonbuk National University last Saturday (September 12, 2015).

Professor Cho has conducted research on both Korean and Jeju folk songs and their impacts on the traditional culture for many years. The folk music society was established in 1998.
