김남형·고경남 교수, 해상풍력발전 번역서 출간
UK book "Offshore Wind Power" translated by Profs. Kim Nam Hyung and Ko Kyung Nam

Professors Kim Nam Hyung, the Jeju National University Department of Civil Engineering and Ko Kyung Nam, the Graduate School Faculty of Wind Power Engineering translated the well known book on wind power electricity “Offshore Wind Power” (original publication of Multi-Science Publishing Co., Ltd, United Kingdom, 2009). The Korean version was co-translated by Yang Soon Bo from the Harbour Technology Research Institute in Japan.

Offshore wind power attracted both the technical and environmental experts’ interests in its industrial development because of favorable wind conditions of the offshore locations, circumventing also the noise problem of wind power generators installed on the coastal ground.
