Subtropical Agricultural Bioscience Project participants heard Syngenta scientist Cindy Lim

Jeju National University Subtropical Agricultural Bioscience Fusion Industry Training Project (Lee Dong Sun, Director) held a special lectureship by Syngenta’s agricultural scientist Cindy Lim last Tuesday (September 15, 2015). Dr. Lim heads one of the Syngenta Korea’s research projects in sustainable agriculture, especially in Pan Asiatic zone. The lecture was sponsored by the CK-1 program.

Dr. Lim talked about the sustainable agriculture and its importance.

She discussed such contemporary issues as Big Data in world agriculture, understanding of agricultural biotechnology by the general public, productivity of small scale farmers, and role of ICT in Korean agricultural industry.
