Prof. Shim Hee Jung invited to perform at Schubertiaden Music Festival in Germany

Professor Shim Hee Jung of the Jeju National University Faculty of Music departed to Schnackenburg, Germany, where she will participate in the 23th Schubertiaden International Music Festival as an invited musician. The festival takes place from September 24 through 27, 2015.

The annual international festival features primarily chamber music this year, with the main program composed of Scriabin, Schubert, schaikovsky, and Brahms.

Among the distinguished invitees, in addition to Professor Shim, are Professors Zenziper (piano, Dresden University), Bukac (viola),  Ilja Konovalov (violin, Tel Aviv University and Israel Philharmonic Conductor), Leonid Gorokhov(cello, Honover University),  Robert Berg(viola, LA Philharmonic).

Professor Shim is scheduled to play piano solo in Germany on September 22 and 23 prior to the festival.
