Rolling admission applicants pool posts 5.06:1 competitive ratio

By the September deadline for academic year 2016-rolling admission application, 4,085 applicants had filed their application papers for the 807 available freshman slots. These figures represent a competition ratio of 5.06 to 1, close to the ratio (5.03 to 1) posted last year.

The highest competition ratio was 20.8 to 1 posted by the 416 applicants for the freshmen class of Elementary Education.

In the meanwhile, 41 applicants filed their wishes to enter the JNU School of Medicine, showing a competition ratio of 6.83:1 (for BS/MS combined program available to the regional qualifiers).

Those to be admitted will be announced on December 9, 2015 after the written tests are notified.
