Job Start-Up Center to assist the economically underprivileged for  their business ventures

With the support of Jeju Autonomous Government, Jeju National University Job Start-Up Center (Cho Kyung Hwan, Director) selected six candidates from the economically underprivileged background to assist them with their launching of business plans.

The center project aims to provide the technical and financial support for the six prospective enterprisers to get their respective businesses on a firm starting ground.

For the business program, the candidates themselves came up with ideas for specific business  initiatives, and the center then provides the needed support including managerial mentoring service.

Each candidate was given a start-up fund of 29 million won for the first five months of business initiatives.
