The Ara Overseas Volunteer Corps. Volunteer work for animal care in Mongolia

Jeju National University held a launching ceremony for the '2022 Ara Overseas Volunteer Corps for Animal Treatment Volunteer Activities' at the College of Veterinary Medicine.
JNU's 37 volunteer members including professors, students, and veterinarians, will carry out activities in Mongolia to neuter small animals, treat dog and cat rabies and DHPPL (comprehensive vaccine), and rid dogs of internal and external parasites.
In addition, the following activities are conducted; dog and cat disease counseling and treatment, cow and horse respiratory disease treatment, horse joints and ligaments-related treatment, animal ranch specifications management counseling, and animal ranch disease management counseling.
At the ceremony, the members of the volunteer group vowed to faithfully engage in veterinarian activities so that they can promote the development of the area and enhance JNU's honor with exemplary actions during their volunteer period.
JNU expects the students to strengthen their field capabilities, establish international and future-oriented thinking, enhance the status of JNU, and revitalize international exchanges with this volunteer overseas trip.
