JNU President Kim Eel-hwan received the "Korea Content Association Grand Prize in the field of Education" at the 2025 Korea Content Association Comprehensive Academic Conference & International Digital Design Invitation Exhibition, held at the JNU Ara Convention Hall on May 16.
The award recognizes JNU’s significant contributions to fostering talent and advancing academic and technological development in the field of digital content, as well as its role in supporting the academic and educational mission of the Korea Content Association.
The Korea Content Association (Chairperson Lee Byung-yeop) is a leading academic organization in convergence studies, with approximately 20,000 members since its founding in 2000. The Association plays a key role in the growth of the content industry and in establishing a knowledge- and information-based society. Notably, more than 1,100 papers are submitted annually to the Association’s journal, which boasts the highest contribution rate and an excellent citation index among domestic academic conferences.
President Kim expressed his appreciation for the honor, stating, "This award is especially meaningful as it acknowledges the external recognition of JNU’s digital content education," and added, "JNU will continue its efforts to nurture future talents with creativity and convergence capabilities."
