Hon. Dr. Ko Choo Wol honored at her bronze-bust unveiling ceremony

President Huh Hyang Jin of Jeju National University and the guests congratulated Ms. Ko Choo Wol, Honorary Doctor of Management and President of Wolja Packaging Corporation, for her generous support for the university at her bronze-burst unveiling ceremony on the “Deer Hill” near the entrance last Friday last week (November 13, 2015).Ms. Ko is the first woman so honored with a bronze bust on the JNU campus.

At the unveiling ceremony, Dr. Ko presented scholarships to ten recipients, each with 5 million won stipend.

The honoree is a Kujwa native and she has been highly successful with industrial and manufacturing businesses over the years.

Since 2008, she has contributed over 1.1 billion won toward the development of the university and its scholarship program.

True to the nobles oblige spirit, her generosity extended beyond Jeju National University, and brought her both regional and national honors for her charity contributions. At the ceremony, Ms. Ko expressed her appreciation and promised to continue to support for the university and the community in the future.
