Political Science majors Ko Min Woo and Kim So Yeon scored 1st place at Mock UN meet

Ko Min Woo and Kim So Yeon, undergraduate majors in Political Science and Diplomacy at the Jeju National University Department of Political Science and Diplomacy earned  the top score at the 21st National Collegiate Mock United Nations General Assembly meet held in KT Leaders Development Institute in Daejeon last week.

The moot United Nations meet simulating the annual General Assembly of the United Nations  was organized by the Korea United Nations Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The main agenda for the mock UN assembly was “Situation of human rights in North Korea” and the JNU representatives Ko and Kim served as the Portuguese delegates to the mock UN debate.

The winners of the mock UN meet earned an all-expense paid trip to the UN assembly meeting either in NY City or Geneva.
