Hon. Dr. Ko Choo Wol honored with first woman bust on campus

Ms. Ko Choo Wol, Honorary Doctor of Management and President of Wolja Packaging Corporation, will be honored at a ceremony of unveiling of her bust on the campus (“Deer Hill” near the entrance) next Friday (11:00, November 13, 2015).

Ms. Ko is the first woman so honored with a bronze bust.

At the unveiling ceremony, Dr. Ko plans to make yet another scholarship gift presentation.

The honoree is a Kujwa native and she has been highly successful with industrial and manufacturing businesses over the years.

Since 2008, she has contributed over 1.1 billion won toward the development of the university and its scholarship program.

True to the nobles oblige spirit, her generosity extended beyond Jeju National University, and brought her  both regional and national honors for her charity contributions.
