Funding of 933 million won for regional education innovation project this year

Jeju National University (Huh Hyang Jin, President) was granted funding (933 million won) for having been selected as an outstanding PoINT participant university in the PoINT (Program of national university for INnovation and Transformation) project administered by  the Ministry of Education.

The PoINT project aims to promote the competitiveness of regional education through infrastructural and basic educational innovations.

Jeju National University participates in the project under the thematic banner of “Leading the development of the regional society through innovative university reform.”

To follow up on the project’s aims, Jeju National University plans to expand the scholarship program for basic natural science and humanities areas.
