Chemistry's Bhoo Joon Oh came home with superior research presentation award

Bhoo Joon Oh, a pre-doctoral fellow with the Department of Chemistry (Professor Kang Chang Hi, Supervisor) won a superior research presentation award at the 55th Korean Society for Analytical Science held in Kyungju Hyundai Hotel.

The award winning paper was entitled ‘Chemical Compositions of PM10 and PM2.5 Aerosols in Relation to Meteorological Phenomena at Gosan Site, Jeju Island in 2014.” The research dealt with the effects of micro-dust particles originated from the Asian continent and Gobi desert on the chemical composition of atmospheric air in Jeju Island.
