Prof. Kim Sang Jae granted Korea Research Fellowship
Professor Kim Sang Jae of the Jeju National University Department of Megatronics Engineering received a Korea Research Fellowship grant, overseas outstanding young research scientist luring program, from the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and the National Research Foundation of Korea, it was announced earlier today (November 26, 2015).
The Korea Research Fellowship program was established this year to attract overseas outstanding young research scientists under a long term residential arrangement.
Under this program, Dr. Ananda Ramados from India came to Jeju National University and successfully spent his tenure here producing 15 internationally recognized scientific papers. He is currently at KAIST where he continues active research in nano energy problems.
Principal Investigator Kim Sang Jae invites Dr. Ramados back to the JNU laboratory where they will collaborate in research. Professor Kim commented that the effort of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation was instrumental in obtaining the 5-year fellowship grant.
