양성기 교수, 제주도문화상 수상자 선정
Professor Yang Sung Ki wins Jeju Cultural Award

Professor Yang Sung Ki of the Jeju National University Department of Civil Engineering was named to receive this year’s Jeju Culture Prize last Tuesday (December 1, 2015).

Professor Yang is recognized with the award for his 30 years of dedicated teaching and research at Jeju National University where he is credited for training professionals in the area of water resources and environmental water conservation measures.

Professor Yang published 110 research papers, along with more than 10 books and presented over 160 conference papers.

The Jeju Culture Prize is the most prestigious one in Jeju, and the presentations of the culture prize along with other prizes and their winners will be held  at an award ceremony in Jeju Sulmoondae Women Cultural Center next week (10:00, December 14, 2015).
